A live Next.js app that unifies a birthday-card tool and a multigenerational trip planner. Designed, coded, and deployed solo. I used it during a real family trip through Zion and Bryce Canyon — the fastest feedback loop I've ever had on my own design work.

Why it matters

Tool adoption inside an org is a product. It has users, a UX, an onboarding flow, and edge cases. Treating AI4Design that way — rather than as a training program — is what made it land. The skills I built here: designing onramps, writing for non-technical users, identifying what a tool earns its place doing — are the same skills that matter at companies building AI products from the inside.

A short biography.

Eight years at JPMorgan Chase. Currently leading design for the Commerce Payment Platform — the place where payments infrastructure meets the people who depend on it.

Off the clock, I'm usually somewhere with no signal — working through the national parks one trailhead at a time. Hiking, climbing, anything that gets me outside.

Design Lead across Commerce Payments, Merchant Services, and Spectrum Core — three consecutive lead roles building trust into systems that move real money at scale.
Approach
I work at the intersection of design systems and platform thinking. The line between designing a system and building one is dissolving — I decided to stand on the other side of it.
